I try really hard to do things everyday, that will help me wake up happy.
I’ve read books. I Google. I’m obsessed with asking friends how long it takes them to fall asleep.
Example A: an article I found on iwastesomuchtime.com that now lives on my desktop for regular referral.
And I follow all of the advice.
I wear socks to bed.
I eat lettuce.
I get 8 hours sleep.
I plan the best things for first in the morning.
I eat breakfast.
I keep my phone away from the bed.
And nothing works because the everyday blasting of an alarm clock to shock you out of deep sleep is excruciating.
Last week I discovered the most magical thing in the whole entire world and it’s called SleepCycle.

When I set the alarm for 5.30am, it will wake me any time between 5.00am – 5.30am, based on when I hit the lightest level of sleep, when my sleep cycle says it’s most appropriate!
AND it wakes you up to the sound of gentle waves as opposed to the scream of the default iPhone alarm.
AND it gives you a summary of your sleep patterns.
