Wedding Music

Choosing wedding music is a long task (so many songs! so much research!) but really worth it, because you get to rock out all night to your ultimate favourite songs, and all your wedding guests have no choice but to listen to the music you chose for an entire 6+ hour event.

Walking down the aisle.

I don’t know if anyone at the wedding noticed that the song we walked down the aisle to was Disney? It’s from Tarzan.

Josh and I found the cheapest DJ company we could. They sent a fresh 18-year-old who said to us, on the day, “I’m really nervous – I’ve never been to a wedding”. This was reassuring.

But he was the best ever. Props to the 18-year-old from Moby Disc.

Wedding Waltz.

We were very indecisive over what song to choose for our wedding waltz because Josh and I have very different music tastes. Josh likes what I like to call “death metal” and I enjoy “normal music”.

But we secretly both enjoy “One Thousand Years” by Christina Perri, and it’s dramatically ruined for us because….

It’s the Twilight song.

While we don’t think our friends watch Twilight and we COULD have got away with it, there was one person, one person, who would immediately know.

I love something dramatic for my walk down the aisle. So I should list some wedding processional songs which can help me to make beautiful moments in my wedding.

Thank for sharing! I really love guitar and wondering to have some nice piece of guitar play too in my wedding reception.
