Costumes of Venice Carnival

You could visit St Mark’s Square, Venice everyday during the Carnival season and see different outfits everyday. Every outfit is intricate with masks, make-up, dress and props. The most incredible thing is that most of these people dressed up are just doing it for fun – they aren’t even paid! And those with masks stay in character incredible well. You can ask to take a photo with them, or ask them to turn a certain way and they always silently comply. At the end you say thank-you and they give a silent nod.
